NCVT Courses
Trade Existing: Electronic Mechanic
The standards and curricula of the course is prescribed by the national council for vocational training (NCVT) under Govt. of India craftsman training scheme.The scheme was introduced to reduce unemployment among the educated youth by providing them employable training to cultivate and nurture a technical and industrial attitude in the minds of the younger generation.
QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION
Age: Between 15 to 40 years. The upper age limit and the educational qualification may be relaxed in deserving cases, providing the applicants are otherwise suitable. Widows/separated women would be allowed to join various training programmes under Craftsmen Scheme up to the age 45 years.
LANGUAGE FOR LEARNING
The final examination for the examination course will be English. However, the classes will be given in Malayalam and simple English.
NATIONAL TRADE CERTIFICATE
The final all India trade tests are conducted by the National Council of Vocational Training after completion of the prescribed period of training and successful trainees are awarded the National Trade Certificate in the trade Electronics Mechanic. The National Trade Certificates are recognized for recruitment to the subordinate posts and services under the Govt. of India for which a certificate in the Craftsmanship is prescribed as the requisite qualifications.
THE TRADE TEST
The all India Trade test conducted by the National Council for Vocational Training
consists of five subjects viz.
1. Practical(Practical test & sessional work)
2. Trade Theory(CBT Exam & sessional work)
3. Workshop Calculation(CBT Exam & sessional work)
4. Engineering drawing(CBT Exam & sessional work)
5. Employability Skill(CBT Exam & sessional work)
